Virginia’s Story - Nurse
“I’m a nurse, but I wanted to explore opportunities beyond my regular career.”
Working as a nurse comes with demanding schedules and a lot of responsibility. For me, joining Pacesetter Freelance gave me an opportunity to develop digital skills and explore online work on a part time basis without having to leave my profession.
Through the training and support available within the Pacesetters community, I have been able to learn more about freelancing, online work, digital skills, and how to take advantage of opportunities available in the digital space.
What I appreciate most is the flexibility. I can continue serving in my nursing career while dedicating part of my time to developing skills and working on online opportunities.
Pacesetters has reminded me that you don't have to choose between your profession and learning something new. You can build additional skills, grow professionally, and explore new opportunities alongside what you already do.
My advice to anyone with a busy career is simple: don't be afraid to learn something outside your profession. Start small, stay consistent, and give yourself room to grow.

Lydia’s Story
“I started as a struggling campus student. Today, I am a consistent earner.”
My journey began while I was still in campus, trying to balance my studies with the financial challenges that come with being a student. I wanted to find a way to become more financially independent without compromising my education.
That is when I discovered Pacesetters Freelancing Community through my Upline Godwin.
I started learning practical digital skills and exploring freelancing and online work opportunities. At the beginning, the journey was not easy. I had to learn new skills, build confidence, manage my time, and remain committed even when the results were not immediate.
There were moments when I felt like giving up, but I chose to keep learning and improving.
With consistency, I started getting better at applying what I had learned. What initially felt like a struggle gradually became a learning experience that helped me become more confident and disciplined.
Today, I am proud to describe myself as a consistent earner. My journey has shown me that building an online career is not about getting rich overnight. It is about developing useful skills, taking action, learning from your experiences, and remaining consistent.
What I Have Learned
One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that consistency can change your results. You may not see major results when you start, but every skill you learn, every opportunity you pursue, and every experience you gain contributes to your growth.
Pacesetters gave me an environment where I could learn, practice, and keep pushing myself forward.
I started as a struggling campus student. My journey is still ongoing, but today I am more confident, more skilled, and consistently earning from the opportunities I have pursued.

Mary Githaiga’s Story
“Being a stay at home mum does not mean you have to put your dreams on hold.”
As a stay at home mum, my biggest challenge was finding an opportunity that could fit around my responsibilities at home. I wanted to develop skills that could allow me to work online while still being available for my family.
That is what led me to Pacesetters.
Through the training and mentorship, I began learning practical digital skills and exploring freelancing and online work opportunities. At first, I had a lot to learn, and balancing my time between family responsibilities and learning was not always easy. But I decided to remain consistent and keep improving.
With time, I gained more confidence in using my skills and pursuing online opportunities. Today, I am proud to be making over Ksh 20,000 per week while still being a stay at home mum.
The journey has taught me that your circumstances do not have to define your potential. With the right skills, commitment, consistency, and willingness to learn, it is possible to create opportunities around your existing responsibilities.
What I love most about working online is the flexibility. I can manage my responsibilities at home while dedicating time to developing my skills and working on online opportunities.
My Advice
If you are a stay at home mum wondering whether you can learn a digital skill and start working online, my advice is: start with what you have, learn consistently, and don't be afraid to start small.
You don't have to have everything figured out on day one. Take the first step, develop your skills, practice, and keep moving forward.

Coach Njuguna’s Story- Vet
“I was studying veterinary medicine. Today, I am a full time freelancer.”
My journey started as a veterinary student focused on building a career in animal health. Like many students, I was committed to my studies, but I also wanted to explore opportunities that could give me practical skills and financial independence while preparing for life beyond campus.
That curiosity led me to Pacesetters.
I discovered the world of freelancing and digital work and decided to learn skills that could be applied online. At first, freelancing was completely new to me. I had to learn how online work operates, develop practical skills, understand clients, and most importantly, learn how to turn knowledge into actual work.
The journey required patience and consistency. I had to balance my studies with learning and applying my new skills. There were challenges along the way, but every experience helped me become more confident and professional.
With time, freelancing became more than something I was simply trying out on the side. I developed my skills, gained experience, and became more confident in working with clients and handling online projects. Today, I am proud to be working as a full time freelancer.
My journey has taught me that your academic path does not have to limit the skills you can develop. Studying veterinary medicine gave me one professional direction, while freelancing allowed me to develop another.
What Pacesetters Freelancing Community Taught Me
helped me understand that digital skills can create opportunities beyond traditional employment.
I learned the importance of continuous learning, professionalism, consistency, time management, and taking action instead of simply waiting for opportunities to come.
My Advice to Students
Don't be afraid to explore skills outside your course.Your degree or professional training is important, but the digital world is constantly creating new opportunities. Learning a practical digital skill can give you another avenue to develop yourself and gain valuable experience.Start small. Learn consistently. Practice your skills. Look for opportunities to apply what you know.
I started as a veterinary student exploring freelancing. Today, freelancing is my full time career. The journey taught me that sometimes the skills you learn outside the classroom can completely change the direction of your professional life.

Mwalimu Maina’s Story
“I started as a struggling campus student. Today, I am building a life beyond the campus gates.”
My journey started as a campus student who was simply trying to find a way to improve my situation. Like many students, I had academic responsibilities, personal needs, and financial pressures. I wanted more than just to survive campus life. I wanted to develop skills that could help me create opportunities for myself.
That is when I discovered Pacesetters Freelancing Community under Eagle Web Management.
I started learning practical digital skills and exploring freelancing and online work opportunities. At first, everything was new to me. I had to learn, practice, make mistakes, and keep going even when things were not easy.
Gradually, things started changing.
Through consistency and the skills I developed, I began creating opportunities that gave me greater financial independence. One of the biggest milestones in my journey was being able to move out of campus and rent my own room outside campus.
I was also able to purchase my own laptop, something that became more than just a device to me. It became a tool for learning, working, and building my future.
Today, I am able to contribute toward my own rent, personal needs, and the lifestyle I am building beyond campus. I am no longer looking at my student life purely as a period of waiting for graduation. I am using this season to develop skills, gain experience, and prepare myself for life after campus.
The journey has not been perfect. There have been challenges, disappointments, and moments when I questioned myself. But one thing I have learned is that progress starts when you decide to take responsibility for your future.
What Pacesetters Freelancing Community Taught Me
Pacesetters introduced me to the importance of developing practical skills and being intentional about creating opportunities.
I learned that you don't have to wait until graduation to start building your professional journey. You can start learning, practicing, building experience, and exploring opportunities while still a student.
My Advice to Students
If you're a campus student struggling financially or wondering what you can do beyond your studies, don't underestimate the power of learning a practical digital skill.
Start where you are.
Learn. Practice. Be consistent. Use the resources available to you and keep improving.
Your campus years don't have to be just about getting a degree. They can also be the foundation for the life you want to build after graduation.

Coach Peter’s Story -Student
“Being a student doesn't mean you have to wait until graduation to start building your professional future.”
My name is Coach Peter, and I am a student at Laikipia University. Like many university students, I wanted to focus on my education while also finding ways to develop practical skills and gain experience that could benefit me beyond the classroom.
My journey with Eagle Web through Pacesetters Club Mentorship gave me an opportunity to explore the world of online work and digital skills while continuing with my studies.
Discovering Online Work
Before joining the mentorship program, I was curious about the possibilities available in the digital space. I wanted to understand how people could use their skills to work online and create professional opportunities.
Through Pacesetters, I was introduced to areas such as freelancing, digital skills, online work, and network marketing. What interested me most was the opportunity to learn skills that I could continue developing even while still in university.
Learning and earning while Studying
Balancing university life with learning and working online has not always been easy. There are classes, assignments, examinations, and other responsibilities to manage. I had to learn how to organize my time and become more disciplined. The mentorship environment helped me stay focused and gave me access to training and guidance as I continued developing my skills.
Instead of waiting until graduation to start thinking about my professional future, I decided to start preparing early.
My Growth
What Pacesetters Has Taught Me
One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that learning should not stop at the classroom.University education is important, but developing additional practical skills can help students become more prepared for the changing world of work. The digital economy continues to create new opportunities, and I believe students should take advantage of their time in university to learn, experiment, and build experience.
My Advice to Other Students
If you are a university student, don't wait until your final year or graduation to start thinking about your career.
Start developing practical skills now.
Learn something valuable. Practice it. Build experience. Connect with other people who are also learning and keep improving. You don't need to have everything figured out. Start where you are, use the opportunities available to you, and keep building.
My journey as a student and freealancer is still ongoing, but every skill I learn today is helping me prepare for the professional future I want tomorrow.
